Brian & Amanda Scott owners of Boulder StoneScapes, Apple Wood Ovens and 63rd St. Farm.
Brian Scott has been a stone mason in Boulder, CO since 1995, starting out with Big Horn Masonry & Chimney. Studying the art form of masonry he learned all of the techniques to become a mason. To then eventually purchase Big Horn Masonry and Chimney from the Macurdy Family. Eventually changing the name to Boulder Stonescapes.
Stone Masonry is a lost trade that in many ways is a functional art form. Brian uses old world techniques of stone masonry & sources as much stone locally as possible from local colorado stone yards.
Amanda Keeps the Farm in production. She offers a farmstead design and consulting option to assist others in producing their own food. The farm has been based around a Permaculture model through High Altitude Permacultre. Brian & Amanda have both completed several certifications in Permaculture Design. Making their homestead a regenerative example for young farmers and the extended community.
